F*** the poor!

Thanks to Mel Brooks for the title of this post.

This AP story talks about how our fine Congresspeople would rather cut funding to nutrition programs (you know, food stamps, that kind of thing) than from farm subsidies.

I guess in the goal of "starving the beast," it's OK to starve a few people along the way! Hmmm...is that an added bonus, or a part of the policy?
