Bush Calls for Compromise on Immigration

The numbers of Guard troops deployed on the border would decline after a year, the president said, as the Border Patrol put more agents in the field.

In other words, as the Border Patrol stands up, the National Guard will stand down.

He is nothing if not consistent, however simplistic or, less charitably, moronic.
